Product care

We do our best to source the highest quality materials and all our products are manufactured locally in Europe. We create timeless pieces that are meant to last, however, still need to be handled with love and care.

Please alway follow the care instructions described on the care label in your NYNNE product.

Leather garments

Please remember that leather is a natural material and therefore no leather pieces are entirely the same. To ensure your leather garment is kept at the highest standard please avoid prolonged contact with direct sunlight or high heat. Avoid all contact with water, perfume, oils or other cosmetics. To avoid staining if the garment get wet, dab it dry with a clean and soft cloth without rubbing the leather, leave to dry at room temperature. Leave your piece in a garment bag when not in use.

Jewellery

All NYNNE jewellery pieces are handmade in Florence, Italy from precious materials such as 18 carat gold and palladium in combination with brass and freshwater pearls. To maintain your jewellery in the best possible condition please keep in the dust bag when not in use and avoid all contact with water, perfume, oils or other cosmetics. Avoid contact with sharp objects as it might scratch the surface. Use a clean, soft cloth to gently rub the metal part of your jewellery to maintain a clean and shiny surface.

Silk

Silk should not be washed after every usage. Hang your silk pieces to ventilate. Keep away from direct sunlight. Silk is best hand-washed with a silk detergent in lukewarm water. To machine wash silk carefully check the instructions of each garment. A laundry bag can help protect the garment in the washer.

Wool

Wool does not need washing after every usage as it has a natural coating that makes it resistant to dirt. Instead hang to ventilate. Knits are recommended to be stored in drawers, as hanging may alter the shape. Store together with mothballs.  Pilling occurs naturally in wool, this can easily be removed with a fabric shaver or pilling comb.

Cashmere

Cashmere does not need washing after every usage, a few times per season is suggested. Instead hang to ventilate. Cashmere knits are recommended to be stored in drawers, as hanging may alter the shape. Store together with mothballs. Pilling occurs naturally in cashmere, this can easily be removed with a fabric shaver or pilling comb.
